In this BONUS episode of Art on a Podcast, Rosa Torr interviews Fin DAC about his ‘second life’ as an artist who joined the London street art scene later than usual, his relationship with galleries and his brand new print with Art on a Postcard.
Fin Dac is a Self-taught artist and nonconformist, his modern geishas in black and white, often naked and tattooed, are exhibited around the world. Fin Dac works with stencils and a specific painting technique leaving the impression of spatters with pop colors around the eyes, just like a mask. He paints and exhibits with well-known artists like Goldie, Nick Walker, Jeff Aerosol. His works are now against the walls of Los Angeles, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Madrid, Portsmouth, London, Montreal and much more.
Both Art on a Postcard and @findac have received so many requests to make prints from his last auction contributions. We are very happy to let you know that we are releasing 'Fǎnhuí' on Thursday 18th March 2021. The original sold for £2,200 in the Art on a Postcard Winter Auction 2020 so this is a fantastic way to get a wonderful work of art by Fin DAC. Each print is hand signed and has been stamped with Fin's personal stamp.
