Twinkle’s most recent solo show is a debut of her new works titled The Frogs Who Desired a King, opening in May 2016 at Hantverk & Found in Margate. The exhibition follows three years of study and exploration in the studio to pursue new ideas and development.

In 2013 Twinkle exhibited during an artist residency with Tinsel Edwards at Galerie Michaela Stock in Vienna. She also took part in the Art Car Boot Fair and the widely publicised exhibition Big Deal No5. Other recent shows include a joint show with her dad David Troughton in Leamington Spa’s Gallery150 and Girls Aren’t Funny at A-Side B-Side in Hackney alongside Sarah Maple, The Girls and Miriam Eliah amongst others.

Previous Solo exhibitions have been held at The Pure Evil Gallery and Bristol’s Steal From Work. Her work was also featured in-store in Selfridges on Oxford St. For two years Twinkle was represented by the Stella Dore Gallery in Old St London until it closed in 2009.

Other previous exhibitions include an emerging British Artist show at Redbull’s prestigious Hangar-7 Gallery in Salzburg from Oct – Dec 2010 (, LA’s Orange County Centre of Contemporary Art (OCCCA), the Hay Hill Gallery on London’s Cork St, and she was also invited to exhibit at Somerset House in London during London Fashion week.Twinkle has also been a Celeste Art prize finalist and an Aesthetic Art Prize Longlister.

Collaborations with Tinsel Edwards on other projects include co-curating exhibitions, including Vyner Street’s Cultivate Gallery and Redchurch Street’s Outside World gallery. The duo also stage public art events such as The Bank of Twinkle and Tinsel where the public are encouraged to leave their thoughts about the current financial crisis on bespoke banknotes.

Daimon Dash, Howard Marks and Rupert Grint of Harry Potter fame all own Twinkle paintings. Her work is also in the collection of Dietrich Mateschitz (owner of Redbull). She also has work in a private collection in Malibu alongside Ed Ruscha and Rauschenberg.

The artist has been interviewed on Resonance Radio and featured and interviewed in Zeitgeist Magazine, Dazed and Confused, Spain’s El Pais newspaper, Metro Newspaper, Plus1 Magazine, Amelia’s Magazine amongst others.
