Shuby is an artist that is as comfortable working on the streets of Barcelona, Berlin, London, and beyond as well as Venice Biennale and at the same time in gallery shows and commercial spaces.

Her street art began with work inspired by singer and dancer Josephine Baker and the Busby Berkeley film ‘The Gang’s all Here’. She since has embarked on a journey evolving a range of found images inspired by the iconography of 50’s and 60’s film posters, retro advertising and pop images that are deconstructed, reworked and punctuated with her banana and bunny motif.

Outside of her street work Shuby has made murals and large scale commissions for Australian Coffee chain Daisy Green in central London including decorating a shipping container on the Southbank and designing deckchairs and cups with her iconic ‘Your Banana Needs You’ banner.
