Born in London in 1976, I have lived in Scotland most of my life. I studied painting at Glasgow School of Art and have since exhibited throughout the UK: at the Compass Gallery Glasgow, Catterline Open Studios and Glasgow Art Fair. I have works in private collections and the collection of Aberdeen College.
Since having children, I have gradually been working back towards the studio – drawing while my daughter slept in the car, painting in the scraps of time I can find - and am starting to exhibit again, with works at Chatham Historic Dockyard’s recent ‘Of the Sea’ exhibition, and Transition Gallery’s ‘Europa’. Contemporary British Painting have featured two of my recent works as ‘Painting of the Day’. Common themes are: the sea, the body, and perception.
